Sri Mu Saravana Bhavan

Walked in on a Saturday evening around 8pm for dinner with a group of 12. Parking is plenty and supported by a security personnel. The restaurant is above a flight of stairs and the toilet down a flight of stairs, hence it maybe inconvenience for senior citizens. The location is convenient for someone dropping their loved ones at the airport, to drown their happiness/sorrow in a bowl of sambar, on the way back to the Ernakulam city. The tables were immediately arranged and the orders immediately taken- a variety of South Indian items and Chinese items were ordered. The former came real quick while the Chinese items were real slow to the point where the Chinese items hadn’t shown up at the table when the South Indian dishes were already eaten. Intermediate tea/coffee requests before the main course were also helped with. Because the place the big, if the waiter isn’t looking at you, getting their attention might not be wary. Pricing is slightly above average, though not very high, in general. Quality is okay. One thing that still continues with dosas in Kerala is that the texture like in HSB or A2B is still lacking, it puzzles me. The food is tasty, no doubt. They do add in vadas without asking- which is not what I’d like. The customisations for tea/coffee were generalised for the waiter’s convenience but let a sub-par experience to the consumers. This can be improved. Meeta pan is available at a premium of ₹25/piece.

Located along the NH near desom - sweet spot for Aluva temple devottes and those who visit Airport. Have a long list of Vegie cusines and other chineese items. Well arranged dining area with cubicles for family dining. Serves Authentic vegetarian food with good taste. Tried their Masala dosa and Puri bhaji. Lived upto the expectations. With puri u get chutney, alu bhaji and Kadala ( chickpeas) cury. (3.5/5) Sambar and Chutneys are of tamilnadu style. They keep vada in all dishes without being ordered. So u have to make sure before the order is served. Filter coffee and tea available but the customized suggestions are not taken seriously. (3/5) Well behaved staff, serves without much delay, clean dining except for the wash area - no wall mounted liquid soap dispenser / hand drier available. ( Considering the price tag of dishes) Overall an above average breakfast option at a slightly higher cost.

Situated after Nedumbassery Airport on the highway. The hotel is on the first floor. They do provide pure vegetarian items. The price seems to be on a higher side and also the service time is more comparing with other restaurants. But you will be getting authentic vegetarian food. Normally, what Saravana Bhavan provides.

We were 5 in kerala trip and cochin was our first day halt. This pure veg restaurant gave us a fresh start. We ordered dosa, biryani, noodles, bhature, coffee and everything was super tasty. Quantity was much less definitely but taste wise delicious.

Excellent vegetarian food they have combos available with reasonable rate. Ample car parking space available with full time security service. It’s located in front of national highway which makes access much easier. Sufficient staffs to serve you even if restaurant is crowded and all staffs are behaving very well even securities to billing section. They have ghee sweet counter which we tried and was tasty.Food and interior of the restaurant is good but restrooms are not maintained very well, always wet and not cleaned frequently. Recommended for pure vegetarians and those who love vegetarian foods.
